Internet TV is gradually changing the way we watch the news and entertainment programs. One of the things that makes Internet TV possible is bandwidth. Bandwidth is sending large amounts of video and audio data over the Internet, so Internet TV needs large bandwidths.

Another important part of Internet TV is streaming audio and video. Streaming technology makes it possible to watch live or on-demand video without downloading a copy directly to a computer.

How does streaming work? Well, when you want to watch a video, you click the “Play” button. This sends a message to the server, and the server responds by sending you the necessary data. Then a plugin or player on your computer plays the video signal.

Although Internet TV is promising, there are also complaints. Users with slow Internet connections have difficulty getting the data fast and the video quality is not as good as HDTV screens.
